A gorgeous backdrop of pine-clad mountains looms behind the seaside resort of Marmaris in southwest Turkey. Enjoy the nature on the route and pedal without any race stress, but you will need all your performance in the climbing segment!
You start by climbing the 4km Marmaris slope, after which a fast road awaits you until the Gökova junction. From the Gökova junction, you continue for 11km on the highway in the direction of Dalaman. After deviating from Böğürtlenli, the 6km Çiçek climb awaits you with an average of 7-8% slope. At the top of the climb, you arrive at Çiçek Village. Continuing, you pass Ula and come down from Sakar Tepe to the Gökova junction again. Your return road will be completed by descending the Marmaris slope. Have a nice ride!
Blue flag beaches and lush pine forests fascinate those who see it. Eski Datça is an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls. At the western tip of the peninsula are ancient Greek ruins at Knidos, a trading hub during Roman and Byzantine times. You will see the sea on both your right and left along the Datça route. A wonderful rolling track full of beautiful scenery and photo spots awaits you.
You start this route, which includes the first part of the Queens race route, by climbing the 4km Marmaris slope. After a quick descent, you take the Okluk turn. This road includes short steep climbs until Karacasöğüt. But the road quality is so good that you don't even understand how you are driving. This is our traditional last day Fun Ride route of Boostcamp Marmaris, and we like it very much! Have fun!
The route, which starts in the direction of Datça, again starts with a 4km climb. You climb until you can see Marmaris from the top, and you quickly head towards Orhaniye. The bumpy track takes you around the beauties of nature without getting tired. Unfortunately, some of the area suffered from one of the biggest fires in Turkey's history in 2021. On this route, you will witness the traces of this disaster, which is still very fresh.
